Refund Policy

This Refund Policy describes the conditions and process for issuing refunds on orders placed through Canada Parts Exports. Please review this policy before placing your order.

By completing a purchase with Canada Parts Exports, you acknowledge and agree to the terms of this Refund Policy.

1. Refund Eligibility

A refund may be issued in the following circumstances:

  • A return has been approved in accordance with the Canada Parts Exports Return Policy, and the returned item has been received and inspected.
  • Canada Parts Exports is unable to source or fulfill a confirmed, paid order and notifies the customer in writing.
  • A duplicate payment was processed in error — supported by payment records.
  • [BUSINESS OWNER TO CONFIRM: any additional refund-eligible scenarios specific to your business]

2. Non-Refundable Items and Situations

Refunds will not be issued in the following situations:

  • The customer changes their mind after the order has been confirmed and the sourcing process has begun.
  • The part is compatible with the vehicle information the customer provided, but the customer’s vehicle information was incorrect.
  • The customer requested a part that was correctly sourced and supplied to the agreed specification.
  • The return request does not meet the eligibility conditions in the Return Policy.
  • Electrical components, ECUs, sensors, and control modules (all sales final).
  • Special-order or custom-sourced parts obtained specifically for a customer’s confirmed order.
  • Shipping, handling, and export fees — these are non-refundable once the shipment has been dispatched.
  • [BUSINESS OWNER TO CONFIRM: any additional non-refundable categories]

3. Partial Refunds

A partial refund may be issued in the following cases:

  • The returned item shows signs of use, handling, or wear beyond what was disclosed at the time of sale — the refund amount will reflect the assessed change in value.
  • A restocking fee of [BUSINESS OWNER TO CONFIRM: e.g., 15%] applies, as outlined in the Return Policy — this amount is deducted from the refund.
  • [BUSINESS OWNER TO CONFIRM: any other partial refund conditions]

4. Refund Timeline

Once a returned item has been received and inspected, refunds are processed within [BUSINESS OWNER TO CONFIRM: e.g., 5–10 business days].

Refunds are issued to the original payment method used for the purchase. Depending on your payment provider or bank, it may take an additional [BUSINESS OWNER TO CONFIRM: e.g., 3–5 business days] for the funds to appear in your account.

Canada Parts Exports will notify you by email once the refund has been processed on our end.

5. Currency and Exchange Rate

Refunds are processed in the currency of the original transaction. Canada Parts Exports is not responsible for exchange rate differences between the date of purchase and the date of refund, or for any foreign exchange fees charged by the customer’s bank or payment provider.

6. Order Cancellations

Order cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to Canada Parts Exports before the sourcing process has begun. If sourcing has commenced, Canada Parts Exports reserves the right to apply a cancellation fee of [BUSINESS OWNER TO CONFIRM: e.g., a flat fee or percentage of order value] to cover costs already incurred.

Once an item has been shipped, an order cannot be cancelled — the Return Policy applies in that case.
